Both films are amazing! I love how Gus Van Sant used original clips that were also used in the documentary. The only complaint I have is that the movie MILK has not been distributed/screened everywhere in Canada. It has only been released and screened in select cities. More specifically, my home town of Kingston, Ontario will not be screening the movie. In this day and age with such a focus on Equal Marriage and Prop 8 in the states, I find it hard to understand why the movie has been self-censored by the theatres and distributor. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The all mighty dollar prevails above the story of Harvey, unfortunately. I would also agree with your argument. Both films are amazing!
